North American Gold Medal Snare Drumming Championship, sponsored by Henderson’s Pipe and Drum Supply, presented by Andante Drums and Percussion.

The North American Gold Medal, featuring the Henderson’s logo, 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in diameter, will be awarded to the Champion.

Prize monies include First USD $750, Second $500, and Third $250. MHAF will supplement the First Prize to include up to $1,500 USD for air travel from North America for the Champion and their piper to compete in the World Solo Drumming Championships in October 2025, or to travel to Kansas City to compete at Winter Storm 2026.

The North American Gold Medal Champion will choose a prize snare drum from an array of prizes provided by Andante Drums and Percussion.
The Champion may be invited to perform at WINTER STORM – The Pipes & Drums Concert.

Entry Fee is USD $60.00.

Professional piping and drumming contests will be held on January 17, 2025.

Entry Deadline is November 30.

This competition is open to the first 20 eligible applicants.
