LIVE STREAM FUNDRAISER – MHAF Tops $5K GOAL

Kansas City, Missouri– The Midwest Highland Arts Fund (MHAF) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Winter Storm 2019 Live Stream donation goal of $5,000 was achieved today with at total of $5010 raised. Beth Wilson, MHAF President, said, “We are so very grateful for the generosity of the 220 people from around the globe who supported MHAF’s Live Stream. And, we are especially grateful to Andrew Douglas and Carl Donley of Dojo U for their terrific partnership with MHAF, providing all of the Live Stream equipment, infrastructure, time, organization, and manpower, as the Major Sponsor for the Live Stream.”

Dojo U has been the Live Stream Major Sponsor since 2014. In addition, Midwest Pipe Band Association provides financial support for the Live Stream, bolstering its ongoing Major Sponsorship of Winter Storm Workshops and the U.S. Silver Medal Piobaireachd Championship.

A number of the January 18, 2019 contests and that evening’s awards ceremony were broadcast, plus The Pipes & Drums Concert on January 19. To date, there have been a total of 58,000 views of the original 2019 Live Stream broadcasts and recordings of the broadcasts.
