North American Gold Medal Snare Drumming Championship, sponsored by Henderson’s Pipe and Drum Supply, presented by Andante Drums and Percussion.
The North American Gold Medal, featuring the Henderson’s logo, 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in diameter, will be awarded to the Champion.
Prize monies include First USD $750, Second $500, and Third $250. MHAF will supplement the First Prize to include up to $1,500 USD for air travel from North America for the Champion and their piper to compete in the World Solo Drumming Championships in October 2024, or to travel to Kansas City to compete at Winter Storm 2025.
The North American Gold Medal Champion will choose a prize snare drum from an array of prizes provided by Andante Drums and Percussion.
The Champion may be invited to perform at WINTER STORM – The Pipes & Drums Concert.
Entry Fee is USD $60.00.
North American Gold Medal Drumming qualifier will be held Thursday evening, January 11, 2024.
Professional piping and drumming contests (including the Gold Medal Drumming final) will be held on January 12, 2024
Entry Deadline is December 1.
This competition is open to the first 20 eligible applicants.
