North American Gold Medal Ceol Beag, sponsored by Henderson’s Pipe & Drum Supply
The Gold Medal, 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in diameter featuring the Henderson’s logo on the obverse and the MHAF logo on the reverse, will be awarded to the day’s Champion. Prize monies include First winning USD $750, Second $500, and Third $250.
The aggregate winner of the combined Gold Medal Piobaireachd and the Gold Medal Ceol Beag will be awarded USD $1500. This prize can be used for travel to Scotland in 2024 for professional solo contests or for travel back to Winter Storm in 2025. Gold Medal Piobaireachd governs if there is a tie.
The Champion may be invited to perform at Winter Storm – The Pipes and Drums Concert.
The entry fee for the North American Gold Medal Ceol Beag competition is $60.00.
This competition is limited to the first eligible 20 applicants.
Professional piping and drumming contests will be held on January 12, 2024
Online Entry Deadline is December 1.
